A man of many talents, Derek "Duck" Washington fulfills many roles at ProGroup, and not the least of them is research and writing for Desktop Diversity!
A busy Minnesota-based actor and audio designer, he sits on the Board of Directors of the Cromulent Shakespeare Company and works both in front of and behind the curtain in dozens of productions each year.
With a Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota, Duck is an audio designer, DJ, and actor. In fact, Duck first joined ProGroup as an actor in our theater troupe, ProGroup Players. Having appeared in many local productions at theaters including Theatre in the Round and other small theaters, Duck has also done audio work for the world class Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, as well as Park Square and Penumbra.
